Jaipur Wedding Photography Workshop (September 2013)

The wedding photography workshop in Jaipur is over and I am finally home. The last few weeks were hectic with the preparations and the travel and I’m glad to have some family time again. This was the second edition of the wedding photography workshop along with French travel and wedding photographer Christophe Viseux, after the one we conducted together in Goa in August 2012. It was a long time in the planing and I think it would not be too much to say that it turned out to be  quite a huge success. Christophe is a great photographer and fun to hang out with and it was cool having him around.

Jaipur Wedding Photography Workshop

Our base for this three day intensive photography session in Jaipur was the Trident Hotel from were we ventured out for photo shoots. Our two wonderful couples; Aekta & Nitin and Kavita & Nimit really made an effort for us and made the whole experience so much more fun and authentic than any of us had expected. To compliment the look we had Jassi Chhabra who did an amazing job with the make-up and hair styling. We had split the participants into two groups so that all the participants will have a chance to work with both Christophe and myself and two different couples. The following pictures are of Aekta & Nitin who came all the way from Bangalore with their full wedding attire, jewelry and all, to model for us. (Christophe’s pictures of Kavita & Nimit can be seen on his website along with some wonderful iPhone images from the location scouting and days in Jaipur). Some more images of the participants will be posted on my facebook group soon.

A group shot in front of Albert Hall museum in Jaipur. There was a street photographer there taking pictures for tourists attending the monument. He had graciously agreed to shoot this picture and did a good job at it.
